Dr Tim Heinemann holds a degree in Systems Biology from the University of Heidelberg and completed his PhD at the German Cancer Research Center.
With a focus on theoretical biology, machine learning, and precision medicine, Dr Heinemann is working towards robust and explainable AI.
In 2023, he was appointed as a Senior Computational Biologist at the Centre Suisse d’Electronique et de Microtechnique (CSEM) in the AI for Life Sciences group.
His role at CSEM includes managing applied machine learning projects with the objective of advancing the Swiss industry’s capabilities in computational biology.
